UPS Capital Insurance Coverage API
API change historyThis is the insurance coverage API for UPS Capital. It allows for customers to get quotes, purchase coverage and confirm shipment.
Confirm Shipment
Customer’s request for confirming shipment of package (after being picked up by a transportation carrier) for which coverage insurance was previously purchased by providing the necessary coverage information. This method places a confirmation of Insured package picked up by the transportation carrier. This makes the package eligible for future claim requests.
